Welcome

Hello and Welcome to my online blog!

My hope for this site is that I will be able to keep everyone up-to-date on how my summer is going, and also be able to share my prayer requests more frequently. My plan, at the moment, is to write an entry about once every week or two weeks but that will all depend on my host families. Our concerts are always connected to a local church ministry, and then we stay at the homes of those families while we are in the area. So my Internet access will depend on if my hosts have the Internet and if they are willing to let me use it.

So far the information I know on where we are traveling is limited. The first two weeks of June we will be in a camp at Fresno, California. There we will be practicing our music, training for our performances and getting to know each other more (so that we feel like a family instead of strangers). After that we begin our tour!!!

So far I know we will be spending 1 week in New York, 1 week in Montreal, Canada, and 2 weeks in the Philippines. When I get to camp, I will receive a full schedule, and I will have a friend post it up here for all of you (since I will not have access to the Internet at the camp).

With fundraising, I needed to raise $4400 for the summer, and I now have only $622 left to go! God is amazing, and I know He will provide for me. Thank you so much for your support, be it financial or your prayers. I have been able to see Gods provision and love through the acts of love displayed by all of you. God has grown me so much through this process of fundraising; I cannot wait to see what he will do in me this summer! Thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve our Lord!

Next week, when leaving begins to feel a little more real, I will post prayer requests that have been laid on my heart. Until then, pray for Gods provision financially, and that He will be preparing me emotionally, spiritually, and physically for this summer.
